What is Michigan's Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

MIABC is a special four-week outdoor/indoor  program created by Celebrity Fitness expert David Krainiak. This Adventure includes premium fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Fitness  Director  David Krainiak, or one of our other Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coaches. Each day, camp will be one hour in length.   

What if I'm not very physically fit?

This unique program was designed for women of all fitness levels so NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. Alternate exercises are often suggested based on fitness levels. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where is the location we will meet?

The Michigan's Adventure Boot Camp has several locations for your convenience. Please check the calendar page for all boot camp locations. Locations in Novi, Royal Oak, Macomb, Rochester Hills, Birmingham, Ann Arbor and more coming soon.

What types of exercises are included in the program? 

Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, exclusive workouts, surprises, and much more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet every Monday through Friday for one hour during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring an exercise mat, small hand weights (5-8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at any (Dunhams, Sports Mart, Target or Wal-Mart). Some women prefer to bring several pairs of weights of varying sizes. There are several businesses that offer special incentives for our campers.  Ask the checkout person if they offer a discount because you are a member of MIABC. 

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence by making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You'll receive a FREE nutrition seminar and Adventure Boot Camp gift. Why should I participate?

Because if you put minimal effort into your life, you will get back minimal results! You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical, mental and emotional well-being. And you will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has 3 options unless its noted to be a 3 day camp only: $199.00, $249.00, or $299.00.  IF you decide to do the entire 4 week, 5 day a week option it has a registration fee of just $299.00. That's twenty hours of instruction! It averages out to just $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

*The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 5 days per week. However, there is a 3 day and 4 day a week option. The 5 day program includes 20 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements. The 3-day per week programs are also beneficial and are especially good for those who are real beginners, are working with injuries or who want to compliment boot camp with other activities. 

The 3 day a week program is $199 and you can choose whichever 3 days work best with your schedule. NOTE: Only the 4 and 5 day a week camp options have the pre and post camp evaluations associated with registration and only the 4-week camps have the free Nutrition Seminar. Nutrition is a big part of any fitness program so we ALWAYS talk about nutrition and offer tips during every camp so no one misses out!  3 Day Camps are M, W, F unless otherwise noted.

What you can expect:

  1. One hour a day for 4 weeks
  2. Monday through Friday 5:30 - 6:30 AM
  3. FREE camp gift and Nutrition Seminar
  4. Spaces fill quickly for this unique experience!
  5. Registration is just $299 for a 4-week camp 
    ($249 for a four-day-per-week program or $199 for a three-day-per-week program)

Michigan's Adventure Boot Camp is NOT a militaristic style camp where you will be humiliated or an overly competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities. Once again, this is a friendly, fun environment where everyone works to the best of their ability. You have everything to gain by joining. Don't let any false fears hold you back.
